The Amateur is the project of multi-intrumentalist Dominic Clark, one of the three members of The BDI’s (originally The
Panda Gang) who enjoyed a ten year career releasing several albums and singles in Japan and the UK.
Former BDI members Brent Thorley (vocals) and Ian Pakes (drums) still feature heavily. Also featured are Argentine vocalist Gabi Mocca and afro-beat saxophonist Tunday Akintan.
